MISSION

To break the silence of African people around the reality and diversity of gender.

VISION

To create a world in which black transgender and intersex individuals in South Africa are safe, have equal access to health care and support services, and have understanding and acceptance in their communities.

OBJECTIVES

• To raise awareness about black transgender and intersex issues to the general community, and to cultural and religious groups

• To increase access to medical care for black transgender and intersex people

• To lobby and advocate for transgender and intersex human rights

• To empower black transgender and intersex individuals

• To provide legal advice to transgender and intersex individuals

• To provide safe spaces for the transgender and intersex community to share experiences and knowledge

• To raise awareness regarding transgender and intersex issues in academic and non-academic spaces

• To push for the improvement of legislation regarding transgender and intersex human rights
